Souvenirs

For press and partners

Press kit

Everything needed to write about Souvenirs accurately: boilerplate to paste, facts with the source beside them, and the artwork in usable sizes. Nothing on this page is a claim we cannot show you the source for.

Boilerplate

Two lengths, cleared for publication as they stand. Dutch and German versions are on /nl/pers and /de/presse, so you do not have to translate them yourself.

One line

Souvenirs is a free iOS and Android app that tracks the places you have visited and turns them into a collection: the fog clears from your map as you explore, and every landmark, museum and hidden gem has a souvenir to collect.

One paragraph

Souvenirs is a free travel app for iOS and Android that tracks the places you have visited. The world map starts under fog and clears as you move through it, street by street. At real landmarks, museums and hidden gems you collect a souvenir: a coin designed for that place, claimable only there, stamped with the day you were there. Passport stamps mark the countries and cities you unlock, and over three million collectibles exist worldwide. Self-guided walking tours in the app follow the same routes as the city guides on the website. Collecting is free with a limited number of claims; the Collectors Club membership removes the limit. Places, events and walking routes can have souvenirs made for their own stories. Souvenirs is available in English, Dutch and German, and is developed by Pacem Holding B.V. in the Netherlands.

Facts

Each row names where it can be checked. Where a figure lives on a store listing, that listing is the live number and this page is not: read it there before you print it.

The Airborne March, in numbers

The one collaboration with figures we can put a name to. Twenty souvenirs told the stories of Operation Market Garden along the route of the Airborne March in Oosterbeek. The full account, with the partner's own words, is on the case study.

Assets

Direct downloads, at their original dimensions. Please do not stretch, recolour or letter over the brush marks: they are hand-drawn lettering, and a second version of them is a different brand.

App icon

The Colosseum coin, on a transparent ground.

Wordmark

The brush wordmark is lettered per language, not translated in software. Use the one that matches the language you are publishing in. Each comes in a single-line banner and a two-line stack; both are transparent PNGs.

Share images

The 1200 × 630 preview cards, one per language. Useful as a ready-made lead image.

Store badges

Apple's and Google's own badges, exactly as we serve them. Their brand guidelines govern these, not ours.

Airborne March

Free to use in coverage of this collaboration. Photographs from the march showing identifiable participants are not offered here, because they are not ours to license on their behalf: write to us and we will ask. The Airborne March is a separate organisation and its own marks are not ours to give.

How to describe us

The app was called Legacy until 2025 and some third-party listings still say so. If you are copying a name from elsewhere, copy it from here instead.
